Eddie is a well accomplised centre back who is good in the air and is a tough, strong tackler. He is very organised at the back and shows good leadership qualities, that will only improve the back line.
Previously, Cass has played for both Pickering Town and Bridlington Town before his move out to America, to play for Rocky Mountain College.
While playing for Rocky Mountain College, Cass won the award for Cascade Conference Defender of the Year.
Eddie returned to Pickering during the 2017/18 season which saw us gain promotion.
Midway through the 2018/19 season he left to join Hemsworth Miners Welfare where he was made captain, he later follwed Manager Wayne Benn to Ossett United, but he was blighted by injury.
On his recovery from injury, Eddie re joined the Pikes in July 2022, Eddie struggled to overcome injury, before signing for Knaresborough Town for 2023/24 season.
June 2024 Pikes Manager Tony Hackworth acquired Eddie’s signature for the coming season
